Client project: Takeover of 3rd level support for a client with branch offices in 47 countries. Consulting, concept design and engineering of a complete new IT platform in the client’s data center were carried out by Systemfive. 300 physical servers were virtualized and consolidated on 9 physical hosts and 2 storage arrays. It was possible to close one client data center and thus to reduce costs. The hardware now only requires 2 racks of space.
